ABOUT US
CHARLIE ROAD brings together two lifelong passions of our Creative Director, Lee-Ann Jackson: curating luxury fragrance and all things equine.
"The ethos is simple: to craft quality luxurious home fragrance and body products using unique scents, natural ingredients, and sustainable practices.
More than just fragrance—We proudly support equine welfare charities across New Zealand, including the NZ Horse Ambulance Trust, Kaimanawa Heritage Horses, and Horse Helping Humans Taranaki. We also support fundraising campaigns, Pony Clubs, and riders who share our passion for horse welfare.
Our brand is built on storytelling, purpose, and giving back. From our seasonal HONOUR Candle Collection that celebrates equine athletes, to our Signature Collection where each fragrance is named after iconic equine places around the world."
The inspiration behind the brand
Lee-Ann has a strong personal history with horses. As a horse lover, former competitive equestrian and apprentice jockey she knows all too well the dedication given by horses to the world of equestrian sports.
CHARLIE ROAD is named after her beloved retired racehorse, Sir Charles Road (aka Charlie). After travelling with Charlie during his racing campaign in Australia, Lee-Ann fell in love with his quirky charm and he was retired to her care. CHARLIE ROAD is based in the Wairarapa where Lee-Ann lives with her beautiful retired racehorses, Charles Road and Mister Mosey, husband and a menagerie of animals.
