For your first burn, and consecutive burns, let the candle melt to edge, this may take 1-3 hours depending on the candle. This will ensure a smooth consistent surface, prevent tunneling and enhance fragrance throw throughout your candle’s life
Trim the wick to 6mm before each burn, this gives you a clean burn, better fragrance throw and prevents sooting
To extinguish candle, use the lid provided, don’t worry they can handle it, even the wood ones! Flames can’t burn without air so your candle will snuff out in 1-2 seconds. Using the lid instead of blowing the candle out will prevent charred wick embers falling in the candle wax and you will get a clean burn next round.
Burn candles on a flat, heat resistant surface. Avoid drafts, vents or air currents, this will help prevent rapid or uneven burning and sooting
Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects
